Kids Church

PLAY. PRAY. LEARN.

Kids Church is an engaging time where primary school aged children get to have fun while learning about God and His word.

Kids Church is currently learning about the life of Jesus. We act out, do crafts about, play games to re-inforce lessons, read the bible, watch short clips and talk about what these stories mean to our lives.

During the term, we will be memorising the scriptures -

2 Peter 3:18

Matt 19:14

Kids Church includes:

Games
Reading & talking about the bible
Hands-on Interactive play-based bible activities
Praying for each other
Learning memory verses
Singing songs
Laughter & fun.

In Term 4, the kids will be practising a christmas play which they will perform for the church on Dec 3rd. It's called "Selling Christmas". It is the story of a Christmas Store owner who believes Chirtsmas is about Santa, presents, tinsel and Christmas trees. But 2 little kids who come into his store, tell him the story of the birth of Jesus. Children will play out the story as angels overlooking the sheep, animals in the barn where Jesus was born, and breakdancing wisemen celebrating the newborn King.
